The German testing laboratory AV-Test has published another list of the best antiviruses for Windows 10. The ranking included as many as 20 companies creating antivirus software.

The maximum number of 18 points has been obtained by Kaspersky Lab. The company was rated the highest in all categories - protection, efficiency, and usability.

Interestingly in best protection antiviruses for windows 10, the same number of points won also a little-known company AhnLab, which has in its portfolio V3 Internet Security. The maximum result is also achieved here.

Immediately behind them were four more companies, scoring 17.5 points each. I am talking about solutions from Symantec, McAfee, Bitdefender, and Avira. They all scored the maximum number of points in protection, and half of the point lost in performance or usability. 17 points, which is also quite good, was won by Trend Micro and Microworld.

Who should be avoided? The lowest number of points in the ranking was obtained by the Chinese company Qihoo with 360 Total Security software. In the default configuration, it gained only 10 points, while with the additional antivirus engines from Avira and Bitdefender enabled, this value increased to 13 points. Comodo (13 points), Microsoft Windows Defender (14 points) and PC Pitstop did a bad job too.
