AutoHotkey is a macro software that is totally free and open source. It is used for mouse, keyboard and other input devices.

The main functionality is to "record the actions" automatically. AutoHotkey allows to automatically perform repetitive tasks, with the mouse and keyboard.

AutoHotkey can also record the position of the mouse or the title of the windows to dependably reproduce the user action and can stay pending the application to load before you continue to do the record.

Obviously AutoHotkey is able to perform actions automatically reading commands previously saved in a text file with the extension AHK, called scripts.

However, this software can also be used for many other things, for example for the creation of combinations to remap keyboard shortcuts or buttons.
