Awesome Screenshot for Chrome is an extension to the Google browser that allows you to easily create screenshots of the pages viewed (whole or only the fragment visible at the moment on the screen), then edit them (manually add notes, add shapes) and share with friends or family. The whole is handled comfortably thanks to the colorful and eye-catching icons on the toolbars when editing the dump, as well as quite smooth operation.

To do this using the add-on described, just click its icon (located next to the address bar in the browser), and then select the appropriate dump option - it is possible, among others taking an immediate snapshot of the entire displayed area of the page or delaying it in time, e.g. in order to manage to hover the mouse over the appropriate part of the page that activates other content.

Such a dump is automatically opened in a new tab in the browser, where we can edit it further. You can add simple shapes, such as lines, rectangles or arrows, enter text (with font selection), and enter handwritten notes. Interestingly, each element can be edited later, e.g. in terms of color and location - it is not necessary to "undo" all introduced changes to change the position of any of the added objects.
